Resource: Participant agreement email

Hey [Participant name],

Thanks for your interest in participating in our research. Attached to this email is a participant agreement that describes the kind of information we're looking for (for example, candid feedback on our website's usability). It also outlines what we'll do with the information we collect.

My colleagues and I plan to take notes during our session. Ideally we’ll make an audio/video recording of the session, however you can refuse us this ability. We will delete any recordings we make after our project concludes on [Project end date].

We appreciate your desire to participate in our research, and want to help you understand everything that entails beforehand. Please read the attached agreement, ask any questions you might have, and return a signed copy of this agreement before our session.

Thanks,
